North Pacific Fishery Management Council to Discuss Chum Bycatch Reduction Measures

The North Pacific Fishery Management Council will meet in the first week of February with only two items on the agenda. They will refine a Fishery Management Plan for Cook Inlet driftnetters outside state waters. And they will perform an Initial Review on measures being considered to reduce chum salmon bycatch in the Bering Sea pollock fishery.
