NORAD Intercepts 2 Russian Aircraft off Alaska’s Coast
On September 11, the North American Aerospace Defense Command tracked and intercepted two Russian military aircraft in international airspace near Alaska.
NORAD identified the Russian planes as Tu-142s, used for anti-submarine warfare and maritime reconnaissance.
