New Bedford Seafood Company Northern Wind to Pay $72,000 for EPA Violations
New Bedford, Massachusetts-based Northern Wind, a company that specializes in distribution of fresh and frozen seafood products, has been ordered to pay $72,000 after an Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) violation.
The issue dates back to August 4, 2020 when the company had an accidental release of anhydrous ammonia at their cold storage warehouse and distribution center, located at 75 MacArthur Drive in New Bedford.
