Norwegian Farms Report Escapes Following Storm Ingunn
Last week Norway was hit by a major storm, which the Norwegian Meteorological Institute named Ingunn. Ingunn is being called one of the strongest storms to hit the country in 30 years, bringing with it hurricane-force winds, with some reports suggesting gusts at 112 miles per hour, and national wind speeds of 121.7 miles per hour. The news reported power outages and structure damage. And now Norway’s Directorate of Fisheries says that they’ve received reports about incidents of escapement on farms.
