Handy Seafood Lands Top Certification for Food Safety at Maryland Facility
Seafood processor Handy Seafood announced that its Crisfield, Maryland facility had received an ‘AA+’ rating for Food Safety from the top safety and quality certification program, the British Retail Consortium Global Standard (BRCGS).
The ‘AA+’ rating is the highest achievement that a facility can receive and provides the company with a “globally recognized mark of excellence,” which shows Handy Seafood’s commitment to food safety.
