Cell-Cultivated Seafood Startup Forsea Foods Raises $5.2 Million in Seed Round

Forsea Foods, an Israel-based cell-cultivated seafood company, has raised $5.2 million in a seed round led by Berlin-based Target Global. Also invested in the round were The Kitchen FoodTech Hub; PeakBridge VC; Zora Ventures; FoodHack, and Milk & Honey Ventures.
The company said the funding will head toward its cultivated eel meat products, which are in demand as a kabayaki and sushi product.
