NOAA Sets Scoping Meeting for Further Modifications to Atlantic Large Whale Take Reduction Plan

NOAA Fisheries announced a scoping period for the next phase of modifications to the Atlantic Large Whale Take Reduction Plan.
Ideas and suggestions are welcome for all fisheries regulated under the Plan that would move toward the 90% risk reduction goal.
NOAA said it is looking for information specific to additional risk reduction in all U.S. East Coast commercial gillnet and trap/pot fisheries. This includes ways to:
