Vega Salmon Plant Becomes First in Germany to Land Seafood Processing Standard Certification
Denmark-based Vega Salmon was the first company to have a processing plant achieve the Global Seafood Alliance’s Seafood Processing Standard (SPS) certification in Germany, per a May 31 announcement.
Vega Salmon’s plant is located right across the Denmark border in Handewitt, Germany, and its Atlantic salmon is farmed by its partners in Norway, the GSA explained.
