Cargill Launches Seafood ‘SeaFurther’ Sustainability Initiative
Cargill unveiled its SeaFurther Sustainability initiative which aims for aquaculture operators to raise more sustainable seafood.
The initiative follows the company’s overall carbon commitment which is an aim to cut greenhouse gas emissions by 30 percent per tonne of food by 2030. SeaFurther alone will help save two billion kilograms of CO2 by 2030, which is the equivalent of removing more than 400,000 cars from the road.
