Judge Shuts Down StarKist’s Challenge to Lower Tariffs on Tuna Products
Judge Timothy M. Reif of the U.S. Court of International Trade found that four of StarKist’s tuna salad products will be subject to a 35% import duty after the company argued the products should be classified differently, which would have significantly lowered tariff rates on some of its tuna pouches and to-go kits.
