Gulls Identified as Additional Hindrance to Columbia River Salmon Survival in Some Areas
Gulls are typically seen hovering in ports and near boats, eyeing any scrap of fish or shellfish available. Now, some tribal researchers say gull predation could be affecting salmon survival on the Columbia River and should be dealt with -- lethally, if necessary.
