A legal trade channel for live king crab between Russia and China is ramping up at the Chinese port of Rongcheng. The authorities expect to handle about 500 tons of live king crab per year.
This week, 55 tons of Russian king crabs have finished customs clearance in Longyan port of Rongcheng. This is the first time that Rongcheng imports a boat of Russian king crabs.
These king crabs are said to leave from Zarubino port of Russia a few days ago..
