Morpol, Poland's Largest Seafood Company, To Expand Output Capacity, Increase Salmon Sales within EU

Polish fish processor Morpol S.A. has unveiled an investment of about €10 million (US$11.3 million) at its plant in Duninowo, in northern Poland. Under the plan, the project will allow expansion of the facility’s total surface by some 7,000 square meters, and raise its output capacity to about 100,000 tons of salmon, Emilia Schomburg, the company’s marketing and communications director, told Seafoodnews.com.
Following the project’s completion, the plant in Duninowo will be fitted with a total surface of 80,000 square meters. In addition to the processing facility, Morpol operates a further three plants in Poland.
“The overhaul plan is not only focused on increasing the plant’s surface … but, above all, on relevant improvements and modernizations of the processing facility which will allow to increase its output capacity and enhance logistics,” Schomburg said...
