Final Day at GOAL Belonged to Bill Herzig, Former VP at Red Lobster, with Lifetime Achievement Award

For many attending the Global Aquaculture Alliance meeting in Vancouver last week, the final day belonged to Bill Herzig.
Herzig, who for many years guided Darden's purchasing of Seafood and other commodities, was one of the founders of GAA, along with George Chamberlain. However, in recent years he has been in charge of an ambitious project in Malaysia to commercialize lobster aquaculture.
If this project is fully scientifically and commercially successful, it could transform lobster into a totally different kind of product.
