Pescanova's 2015 Earnings Down Through May Despite Stronger Sales Performance

Pescanova has reported a loss of EU24.7 million (US$27.1 million) through May this year compared to the US$1.87 billion in profit the company posted in this time in 2014.
The company reported $555 million in sales in the first five months of 2015; 16.5 percent over the same time last year.
Company sales continue to rise, as is clear from the information provided to the National Securities Market Commission (CNMV). In the six months between December 1 and May 31 -the multinational changed the closing date of 30 November-year sales totaled 501 million euros and the year to date has "significant growth" , pointing from the company.
