Sustainable Massachusetts Commercial Fisheries Summit March 2 in Boston

Anyone with anything at stake in the Massachusetts commercial fisheries has been invited to the Sustainable Massachusetts Fisheries Summit at 2 p.m. Monday, March 2, at the UMass Club, 225 Franklin St., Boston (the State Street Bank building).
A broad range of topics will be discussed. They include the status of the cod and flounder fishery, the status of the scallop fishery, state-funded technology-driven research and other promising technology, supporting productive multi-stakeholder communication, and improving fisherman safety.
The list of scheduled participants is a mostly famailiar one to those following fishing issues in recent years.
