Eric and Wendy Schmidt (Google) Give $10M to Monterey Bay Aquarium's Seafood Watch

Google chairman Eric Schmidt and his wife Wendy have committed $10 million to bolster the efforts of Monterey Bay Aquarium’s Seafood Watch program.
Aquarium officials called the gift “transformative,” saying it would further their efforts to make fisheries and aquaculture more sustainable. The 15-year-old program, which began as an exhibit, has evolved into a leading voice on sustainable seafood that influences everyone from chefs to major buyers to top government officials.
