It's 'End of Story' for Drakes Bay Oyster Co. as Site is Largely Dismantled

The Drakes Bay Oyster Co. is no more.
Owner Lunny's legal team could not get the Supreme Court to listen to arguments that would have temporarily halted the closure so his case could be heard.
Last week crews hired by the National Park Service began demolishing buildings along the shore of Drakes Estero, where oyster farming has occurred since the 1930s.
