More Asian Carp Genetic Material Showing Up in Great Lakes As Congress Dithers

One year ago this month, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers debuted a long-awaited study that outlined multiple ways to keep highly destructive Asian carp out of the Great Lakes.
The most grandiose plan, the one preferred by scientists, is an $18.4 billion separation of the Great Lakes and Mississippi River watersheds.
While Congress has not made a decision, to the dismay of its critics, scientists have discovered more eDNA, or environmental DNA.
