The U.S., Japan and South Korea continued to be the biggest buyers of Vietnamese seafood in the first nine months of this year, making up respective 22.25%, 14.78% and 8.13% of Vietnam’s total export revenues from the product during the period, said the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.
Between January and September, Vietnam exported seafood worth nearly $1.28 billion to the U.S., $879.4 million to Japan and $467.46 million to South Korea, up 25.8%, 7.7% and 43% on year, respectively, the ministry said on its website.
