Commerce finalizes higher duty rates for Indian shrimp exporters in 8th review

The Department of Commerce upheld higher duty rates for Indian shrimp exporters in its final determiniation for the 8th period of review.
Commerce released the rates a bit ahead of schedule, which were expected to be released on Monday. The review covers shipments from February 1, 2012 through January 31, 2013.
Eithier way, the final determiniation preserved Commerce's higher preliminary rates that it originally announced back in March. At that point, Indian, Thai and Vietnamese exporters all had their duties hiked primarily as the result of the Department’s use of a new calculation methodology, which is called “Differential Pricing.”
