Ecuador's canned tuna, shrimp export market expected to benefit from EU free trade deal

Last week Ecuador and the EU sealed a free trade deal in Brussels that will bolster trade relations between the two regions and further benefit Ecuador's fishery export market to the EU.
The terms of the new arrangement go beyond the unilateral EU Generalized Scheme of Preferences, for which Ecuador is no longer eligible. The Agreement will also provide improved access to the Ecuadorian market for many key EU exports, including tuna and shrimp.
