Tuna industry mourns loss of marketing pioneer Saul Phillips

The tuna industry is mourning last weekend's untimely passing of veteran, independent fish trader and fishery professional Saul Phillips, considered a pioneer in the marketing of fresh and frozen tuna and other pelagic seafood items.
Phillips passed away in his sleep on Saturday at his home in Brazil, he was 50-years-old.
A 40 year veteran in the seafood industry, Phillips was on the forefront of tuna and swordfish marketing to retail consumers, particularly tuna as it moved away from junk fish status in the US...
