Boston lobsters are still priced at 38 yuan each ($5.99) after the Women’s Day on March 8th.
What can you get with 38 yuan in a high-end restaurant? Normally you can only enjoy a portion of vegetable and half a portion of twice-cooked pork. However, now you can enjoy a whole Boston lobster in Hong Gao Liang Hai Xian Jiu Lou, a long-history seafood restaurant.
Boston lobsters are usually regarded as the elite among the imported seafood, especially in Chengdu where they are mostly available in starred hotels and high-end restaurants. But Hong Gao Liang, who is renown for its incredibly low priced seafood in the industry, begins serving the elite to the public at a low price.
