NOAA Fisheries Awards 14 Projects Over $25M in 2026 Sea Scallop Research Set-Aside Program

NOAA Fisheries has made 14 new grant awards through its Scallop Research Set-Aside (RSA) Program, funding research that will shape management decisions for the largest wild scallop fishery in the world.
This year's projects were awarded more than 1.5 million pounds of Atlantic sea scallops rather than federal dollars.
