N.E. Aquarium: North Atlantic Right Whale Injured

A North Atlantic right whale sighted off Georgia with a serious entanglement is facing uncertain survival, experts say, highlighting the ongoing threats facing this critically endangered species, according to the New England Aquarium.
An aerial survey team from Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) first sighted the whale, known as Division, entangled off Jekyll Island, Georgia, on Dec. 3.
