Ottawa Asks Court to End Salmon Group's Lawsuit Over Striped Bass Control

A group's legal action against Ottawa to better control the population of striped bass in the Miramichi River watershed to help bring back salmon populations should not even be before the courts, the federal fishery minister's lawyer argued in a Fredericton court this week.
