Call to Remove Seafood Firm’s Royal Warrant
The royal warrant held by Inverawe Smokehouses has come under renewed scrutiny after it emerged the Taynuilt company previously sourced fish from Mowi, one of the world’s largest fish farming corporations.
Documents lodged with Companies House show that Lorne Fisheries Ltd - the company formerly operating Inverawe Smokehouses - owes more than £130,000 to Mowi.
The outstanding sum appears in a creditor report dated September 2025, which lists more than £300,000 in debts to more than 80 suppliers.
