BJ's Wholesale Club Logs Higher 3Q Rev, Profit Slips
BJ's Wholesale Club logged higher revenue in its fiscal third quarter, though profit slipped as expenses increased.
The warehouse club on Friday posted a profit of $152.1 million, or $1.15 a share, for its quarter ended Nov. 1, compared with $155.7 million, or $1.17 a share, in last year's comparable quarter.
Stripping out one-time items, earnings were $1.16 a share. Analysts surveyed by FactSet expected adjusted earnings of $1.09 a share.
Total revenue rose 4.9% to $5.35 billion
