US House Moves to Reduce Protections for Arctic Lands from Oil and Gas Activity
The U.S. House of Representatives voted to overturn a Biden-era plan for the National Petroleum Reserve-Alaska, a step to reduce protections against oil and gas drilling there.
The largely Republican vote on Tuesday sends the measure to President Donald Trump for his signature, after the Senate approved it last month.
