Protesters gathered outside the Canadian Coast Guard's Maritime rescue sub-centre in St. John's on Wednesday, calling for a stronger search and rescue presence along coastal Labrador.
The protest marked the fourth anniversary of the loss of fishermen Marc Russell and Joey Jenkins, who were aboard the Island Lady on Sept. 17, 2021 and didn't return home.
