UK: Pupils Play Part in Creating City’s Own Fish Finger
The University of Plymouth has partnered with a number of local organisations to co-design a new fish finger to serve up in schools across the city.
Known as the Plymouth Fish Finger, the project is making use of ‘by-catch’ fish (catch which would otherwise go to waste) from local fishers, taste-testing them with school children, and co-designing fish fingers, with a plan to serve them in school meals locally.
