Environmentalists Celebrate as Oil Drilling Ban Heads to DeSantis
North Florida environmentalists and its shellfish industry scored a "massive" legislative victory with final passage of legislation that bans oil drilling and petroleum production along the rivers, swamps and marshes that feed the Apalachicola Bay.
That assumes Gov. Ron DeSantis will sign it into law.
Rep.
