European Fisheries Commissioner Visits Spain to Discuss the Mediterranean Fishing Fleet
The European Commissioner for Fisheries and Oceans, Costas Kadis, will begin on Monday his first official visit to Spain, in which he will meet with the sector in Madrid and Peñiscola (Castellón) to address challenges such as the reform of the Common Fisheries Policy (CFP) and cuts to Mediterranean trawlers.
Kadis, Cypriot, will hold several meetings in Madrid, with the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, Luis Planas, with entities representing the fisheries sector, aquaculture and women.
