US Coast Guard Detains 16 Mexican Fishermen for Illegal Fishing, Seizes 2,500 lbs of Red Snapper
On the night of Tuesday, March 11, 2025, U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) crews intercepted and detained 16 Mexican fishermen who were engaging in illegal fishing activities off the coast of southern Texas. During its interdiction, Coast Guard officials seized approximately 2,500 pounds of illegally caught red snapper.
