Cell-cultivated freshwater eel unagi is on the menu — at least at one Tel-Aviv restaurant.
Israel-based food tech startup, Forsea, first entered the cell-cultured seafood arena in September 2022. This past January the company unveiled its first prototype of cell-cultivated freshwater eel.
