Latest North Atlantic Right Whale Death Linked To Vessel Strike
NOAA and its partners have determined the cause of death for the latest North Atlantic right whale (NARW) that was found dead off the coast of Virginia.
The body of the whale, identified as #1950, was discovered by HDR Inc. on March 30 while they were conducting Mid-Atlantic whale surveys for the Navy.
