US House Reps Steel, Panetta Urge Investigation of Forced Labor in Seafood Supply Chains
Yesterday Reps. Michelle Steel (R-CA) and Jimmy Panetta (D-CA) urged Biden Administration officials to investigate allegations of forced labor in seafood supply chains with China. The letter, signed by ten additional members of Congress, went to Secretary of State Antony Blinken, United States Trade Representative Katherine Tai, and Acting U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Commissioner Troy Miller.
