Iceland Fishing Town Grindavik Faces Second Volcanic Eruption In Less Than a Month
On Sunday a new volcanic eruption began north of Icelandic fishing town Grindavík.
As SeafoodNews previously reported, the volcano first erupted in mid-December after weeks of “nervous wait.” Those in the area had been facing threats of a volcanic eruption since November, and even had to deal with the fallout of hundreds of earthquakes leading up to the eruption.
