ANALYSIS: Slowed Demand from Trade Partners Leads to Lower Priced Ecuadorian Shrimp
In the latest data released by Camara Nacional De Acuacultura (CNA), October shrimp exports from Ecuador totaled 216.288 million pounds, or five percent higher than the same time last year. The year-to-date volume figure is 2.227 billion pounds, a 14 percent increase above 2022. The increased export volume came at the expense of price.
