Norway: King Crab Quota Decrease Recommended For 2024
Last December Norway announced that they would increase the king crab quota for 2023. But that may not be the case for 2024. The Institute of Marine Research’s Quota Council revealed this month that they are slashing their quota recommendation for 2024 by more than 50%.
The Institute of Marine Research had previously recommended a quota for 2023 of 2375 tonnes. Now, the recommended quota for 2024 is 966 tonnes.
