Russia plans to keep the volume of crab catch at the current levels in years to come although these may be revised later.
According to recent statements of Ilya Shestakov, head of the Russian Federal Agency of Fisheries (Rosrybolovstvo), the current crab stock in Russia varies depending on the fish zone, while the overall total allowable catch at present is estimated at about 105,000 tonnes.
