The rates for building new fish trawlers in Russia are slowing down, as not even half of the initially planned ships have been built as of now, according to some Russian analysts in the field of fish business and local media reports.
According to experts of Russian Rosrybolovstvo, taking into account COVID-19 and the sanctions imposed by unfriendly countries, the deadline for the construction of new fish trawlers has increased from six to eight years.
