Wicked Kitchen Acquires Fellow Plant-Based Seafood Brand Current Foods

Plant-based seafood firm Wicked Kitchen has acquired Current Foods, another plant-based seafood company that focuses on providing alternative seafood products in the foodservice and fine dining space in the U.S. and Europe.

This marked the second acquisition for Wicked Kitchen within a year. CEO Pete Speranza said the move is “accretive to Wicked Kitchen's portfolio, focuses on an exciting growth segment, and is reflective of the plant-based industry's need for consolidation.”
