Court Rules Against Washington DNR, Allows NWAA to Join Jamestown S’Klallam Tribe’s Lawsuit
The Northwest Aquaculture Alliance (NWAA) will be allowed to intervene on behalf of its members in the Jamestown S’Klallam Tribe's lawsuit against the Washington Department of Natural Resources (DNR) order late last year to shut down fish farming in Washington.
In Friday’s hearing Superior Court Judge Indu Thomas rejected the argument from DNR that the net pen ban had no impact on NWAA member interests.
