Shrimping Closes in Federal Waters Off Texas on May 15, 2023

Today marks the closure of shrimp trawling in federal waters from 9 to 200 nautical miles off Texas, 30 minutes after official sunset local time, per an announcement from NOAA Fisheries.
The move corresponds to when Texas will close its states waters to shrimp trawling.
