Building of new fishing trawlers under the second stage of quota distributions in Russia may be seriously delayed due to ongoing disputes over the terms of the state program and serious problems of Russian shipyards, caused by the imposition of Western sanctions.
As part of the second stage program, there are plans to re-distribute 24% of quotas for pollock and herring catch in the Far East and 50% of the total crab production (both in the Far Eastern Federal District and in the north of the country)...
