Alaska Board of Fish Tackles Salmon Issues in Aleutians, Alaska Peninsula, and Chignik
Some 55 proposals, many offering managment changes to protect salmon returning to Western Alaska rivers from being caught along the Alaska Peninsula will be determined during the next Board of Fisheries meeting in Anchorage at the Dena’ina Center February 20-25, 2023.
The proposal book contains proposals to change the management of commercial, sport, and subsistence fisheries and presentations by Alaska’s Fish and Game managers on the status of the salmonin each area.
