Chilean Salmon Companies Help Regions Impacted By Forest Fires
Chile is currently battling what news reports are calling the country’s “deadliest wildfires on record.”
As of Monday, Reuters reports that the fires have consumed 667,000 acres of land in south-central Chile. The fires in the BioBío, Ñuble and La Araucanía region have claimed 26 lives so far.
The Ten Tanker plane, which has a capacity to unload 36,000 liters of water, arrived in Chile yesterday. The National Forestry Corporation (CONAF) confirmed that brigade members from Argentina, Spain and Mexico landed to help fight the forest fires...
