Russia Abandons Salmon and Trout Export Ban, Russian Fisheries Agency Chief Announced
Minato Shimbun reported that the head of the Russian Fisheries Agency, Ilya Shestakov, expressed at a press conference late last year that the Russian Government would abandon the proposed export ban on salmon and trout products. The North Sea Development Association (within Hokkaido Trawl Fisheries Cooperative Federation) made the announcement.
